For the first time, SBI introduced Sectional Timing in Prelims Exam.
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination
Preliminary Examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks is conducted online. This test is of 1-hour duration consisting of 3 Sections with each section having sectional timing of 20 minutes each.

2 | Numerical Ability | 35 | 35 | 20 minutes |
3 | Reasoning | 35 | 35 | 20 minutes |
Total | 100 | 100 | 60 minutes |
Phase – II: Main Examination
The structure of main examination (online objective type) would be as follows:

A Penalty for Wrong Answers (Applicable to both – Preliminary and Main examination): There is a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question on which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one-fourth of the marks assigned to that question is deducted as penalty to arrive at final scores.
