Railways Recruitment Board (RRB) has released a recruitment notification for 1,665 posts of Junior Stenographer, Junior Translator and more. Eligibility Criteria for RRB Junior Stenographer and More:

Educational Qualification:  For Junior Stenographer/Hindi: Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from recognised board/university with shorthand speed of 80 word per minute for a duration of 10 minutes and transcription time of 65 minutes.  For Junior Stenographer/English: Candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent from recognised board/university with shorthand speed of 80 word per minute for a duration of 10 minutes and transcription time of 50 minutes. For Junior Translator/Hindi: Candidates should have passed Post-graduation Degree from a recognised university or equivalent in Hindi or English with English or Hindi as a compulsory subject or as a medium of examination at Degree level and recognised diploma or certificate course in translation from Hindi to English and vice-verse.

Age Limit (as on 01-07-2019):  For Junior Stenographer: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years For Junior Translator: Minimum 18 years and Maximum 33 years

Age Relaxation:

Selection Process: Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of the Online Test (Stage I and II), Skill Test and Medical Test.

Application Fee: General/OBC candidates have to pay Rs. 500 and SC/ST/PWD candidates have to pay Rs. 250 through online mode using Net-banking/Credit or Debit Card.
